Our Mingalar Hall is one of the oldest ballrooms in Yangon (Rangoon). The building
is almost 100 years old, with wooden floors and high antique ceiling fans. We have
purposely kept the
original design of the hall as it has some historical value.
In the olden days we used to have a wedding in this hall every weekend (Mingalar
means wedding). This hall is in the old wing of the hotel and we have a beautiful
view of the Kandawgyi Lake on one side. |
