Other Religious Sites

Although Buddhism is the main faith of Myanmar, the variety of religious monuments that can be seen around the city give it a cosmopolitan ambience and instils the sense that it is at the crossroads of many cultures. A walk along the street will reveal Hindu temples adorned with colourful deities, mosques with towering minarets, and churches and cathedrals with tall spires and beautiful stained glass windows.
